Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sin Sundrea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Two (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sin Sundrea has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sin Sundrea!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Two!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Two tries for a takedown but Sundrea sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A head kick lands from Sundrea that sends Two to the canvas. Two tries to scramble back to his feet but Sundrea brings him back down into side control.


Two is rocked!


It looks like Juan Two has been cut.
Two is looking for a sweep.
Two is still in real trouble! Can Sundrea finish him?
Two seems to have recovered his senses.
Two is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Two should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Two is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sundrea's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Sundrea wants to stand up but Two has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Two is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Sundrea connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Two shoots in and drives through. Sundrea sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Two or perhaps it was just good defense by Sundrea which made him look bad.
Sin Sundrea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Two.
Two looks gassed!

Sundrea pushes Two up against the cage in a clinch.
Two gets underhooks to prevent Sundrea's takedown attempt.

Sundrea breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Two shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sundrea as he avoids it easily.
Two shoots in looking for a takedown. Sundrea tries to sprawl out of it but Two keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sundrea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Two. No joy for Sundrea on that attempt.
Sundrea lands a high kick to the side of Two's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Sundrea dives into guard, looking to finish.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sundrea would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Two has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sundrea is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Two.

Sundrea stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Two shoots and misses
and Sundrea counters with a three punch combo that has Two backing up. Two nods at Sundrea to acknowledge the strikes.
Sundrea keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sundrea throws a body punch but Two moves out of range.
Two tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sundrea swivels and escapes.
Two shoots for a takedown but Sundrea saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Two closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sundrea circles away.
A punch combination from Sundrea misses.
Sundrea shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Two pinned against the cage. Two gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Two fails with a takedown attempt.
Two shoots in but Sundrea avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Two shoots in and drives through. Sundrea sprawls well.
Two misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Two shoots in for a takedown but Sundrea shows good takedown defense.
Two misses with a takedown attempt - Sundrea sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sundrea moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Sundrea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Two tries to reverse the position but Sundrea maintains control.
Sundrea controlling the position easily from mount.
Sundrea will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Two is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sin Sundrea dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Juan Two's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Two darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Two seems to be looking for submissions.

Two wants to work for an arm triangle but Sundrea is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sundrea pushes Two off looking to stand but Two dives back in and keeps control.
Two is breathing heavily.
Two is looking to advance position but Sundrea won't allow it.

Two is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Two stops Sundrea from getting back to his feet.

Two is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sundrea is just riding it out for now. Two eventually gives up the hold.
Sundrea is trying to stand.
Two wants to free his trapped foot but Sundrea is holding on for dear life with his legs.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Two scores with a takedown into Sundrea's guard.
Two works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Two is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Two is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sundrea defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Two tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sundrea knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Two is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sundrea doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Two.

Two is working for an americana but Sundrea has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Two was thinking about the submission.

Two drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sundrea manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Two has Sundrea in his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Two working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sundrea doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sundrea manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Two looking for a sweep. Not yet Two, not yet.

Two had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sundrea is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Two Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sundrea's back instead.

Two is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sundrea has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juan Two showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Sundrea scores with a jab. Two acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Two looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Juan Two has got the better of the ground game so far.

Sundrea kicks off Two and gets to his feet.
Sundrea is looking to score with low kicks.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Two decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sundrea shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Two as he avoids it easily.

Sundrea stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Sin Sundrea is winning the standup battle so far.
Two closes the distance and clinches up with Sundrea, looking for a takedown. Two pushes Sundrea against the cage but Sundrea circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sundrea closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Two fails to pull guard.
Two stops a takedown attempt from Sundrea.
A left hand lands to the body for Sundrea.
Two is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sundrea wants the takedown. Two is fighting it off but Sundrea persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Two's guard against the cage.

Two has an active guard here but Sundrea has managed to pass into half guard.

Sundrea decides to return to a standing position.
Two misses with a takedown

and Sundrea counters with a nice double leg into side control. Two won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sundrea stands up and beckons Two to his feet.
Juan Two seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Two throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sundrea's waist but Sundrea gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Two off to one side.
Sin Sundrea is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sundrea works over Two's head and body with a nice combination.
Two misses with a takedown
and Sundrea counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice sprawl there from Sundrea as Two shoots in.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sin Sundrea showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Sundrea has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
