Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Vanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kakashi Hatake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanko comes to the ring accompanied by Oh No by Gogol Bordello. Kakashi Hatake has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Kakashi Hatake!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatake tries a head kick but it misses.
Vanko wants to clinch but Hatake slips to the side

and Hatake counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Hatake wants to stand but Vanko has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Vanko punching from the bottom.
Vanko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vanko is looking to control Hatake's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vanko avoid being mounted?
Vanko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hatake not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Vanko regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hatake postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hatake won't allow Vanko to sweep him here.
Hatake wanted to stand there but Vanko had control of the position.

Vanko controls Hatake momentarily but Hatake frees himself.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Vanko looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vanko throws a strike aimed at the side of Hatake's head but Hatake avoids it well.
Hatake wants to control but Vanko postures up.

Vanko goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hatake rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Vanko's guard! Nice work there by Hatake!
Hatake scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Vanko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hatake's guard.
Vanko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hatake swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vanko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hatake's head.

Hatake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vanko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vanko wants to control from the top but Hatake keeps moving.

Hatake has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vanko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hatake has his feet on Vanko's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Hatake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hatake closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hatake wants to stand but Vanko has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The fighters are battling for position here. Vanko manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Vanko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hatake defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hatake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vanko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kakashi Hatake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ivan Vanko will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Vanko is looking for a sweep. Hatake is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hatake is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vanko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hatake.

Hatake stops Vanko from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Vanko moves nicely into side control.

Hatake is looking to get back to his feet here but Vanko is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hatake's back.
Hatake has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Vanko is looking for the choke from the back position but Hatake is controlling his hands well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
I would not like to be Hatake right now.
Hatake prevents Vanko from getting a body triangle.
Hatake holding both Vanko 's hands and preventing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vanko trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
