Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Staehlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Werner Cloete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Chris Staehlin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloete fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cloete connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Staehlin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Werner Cloete has been cut.
Cloete misses with a straight left.
Cloete misses with a takedown attempt - Staehlin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cloete tries to close the distance and clinch up but Staehlin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Staehlin connects with a jab.
Staehlin tries to bum rush Cloete with a series of wild strikes but Cloete uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Staehlin keeps the fight on the outside.
Cloete feints a jab promting Staehlin to slip. Cloete then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Staehlin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cloete has closed the distance and engaged Staehlin in a clinch.
Staehlin tries to throw a body punch but Cloete avoids it by throwing Staehlin back against the cage.

so Staehlin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Staehlin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cloete lands with an uppercut that bounces Staehlin off the cage and back into range.

Cloete has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Staehlin after a bit of a struggle.
