4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Goldman! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldman moves into the clinch successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tim Jacobs. Jacobs leaves Goldman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jacobs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Goldman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Goldman trying to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jacobs wants to control from the top but Goldman keeps moving. Goldman pulls Jacobs in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Goldman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jacobs's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Goldman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Goldman manages to end up in side control. Tim Jacobs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jacobs is looking to reverse the position. Goldman swings around for an armbar but Jacobs sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Goldman's guard. Goldman looking for a sweep. Jacobs working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Goldman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Tony Goldman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jacobs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jacobs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Goldman sprawls well initially but Jacobs persists and gets the takedown into half guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Goldman throws out a loose jab but Jacobs uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Goldman tries to hold on but Jacobs pushes him away.
