Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Seph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seph comes into the arena with Wheres My Brother? blaring out of the sound system. Mike Long looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Seph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Long! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seph swats away the attempt to clinch by Long. Seph misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Seph closes the distance and clinches. Seph blocks the elbow strike.
Seph takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Joe Seph has been cut. Seph avoids the elbow strike from Long, against the cage.
Long tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Seph wants the takedown. Long is fighting it off but Seph persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Long's guard against the cage. Long throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Seph preventing the sweep. Seph content to stall in guard here. Long has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Long wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Seph manages to pass to side control. Long wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Seph perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Seph working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Long is trying to escape back to his feet but Seph uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Seph is chipping away with strikes.
Seph is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Seph has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Seph stands up and beckons Long to his feet. Long slips a straight right by Seph. Seph shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Seph takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Seph landing strikes, looking to finish! Seph content just to control the position here. Seph working the ground and pound effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Long that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Seph controlling from the full mount. Long wants to hold on but Seph pushes him away. Seph controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Seph lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Seph tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Seph's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. BOOM! Seph connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Seph dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Seph's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Long is looking to clinch. Seph blocks the body kick.
Long misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Seph drops Long with a right and a left! Seph comes rushing in but Long regains his composure and manages to keep Seph in guard.
Long is rocked! Long can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Seph controls the pace. Long is still in real trouble! Can Seph finish him? Seph might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Seph passes Long's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Seph seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Long seems to have recovered his senses. Long is breathing heavily.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Joe Seph just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Seph throws a right hand that Long ducks under and follows up with a left that Long also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seph shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Seph sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Long's guard. Long has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Seph is working away from the top position though. Long is looking for a sweep. Seph is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Long is trying to control but Seph passes into side control!
Long tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Long is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seph controlling the position easily from mount. Long wants to get back to his feet.
Seph takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Seph lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Long hang on?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seph scoring with strikes but Long is staying in there. Seph postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Long looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Seph controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Long is bucking up trying to escape but Seph cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Seph dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Joe Seph's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Jab, jab by Seph - just one landing. Seph closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Long to the mat! Long manages to get full guard. Seph controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Seph working some strikes from top position. Seph is stalling in the full guard. Long wants to improve his position but instead Seph has moved into half guard.
Long takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Seph content to control rather than advance.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Joe Seph just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Seph waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Long. Long moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seph dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Long has had enough and taps out.
