Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kasahiro Yama!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beowulf will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yama doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Beowulf counters with a nice body kick.
Beowulf thows a body shot but no joy.
Kasahiro Yama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yama.
Beowulf lands a leg kick that knocks Yama off balance momentarily.
Yama throws a jab when Beowulf was well out of range.
Yama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yama takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Kasahiro Yama has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beowulf getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Beowulf connects with a body shot.
Beowulf fails in his attempt to clinch.
Beowulf fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yama has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nice shot lands for Beowulf.
Yama stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beowulf.
Yama looks gassed!
Yama shoots for a double leg takedown but Beowulf sprawls well. He's pushed Yama's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Liberius Beowulf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kasahiro Yama.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Beowulf looks to score with a jab to the body but Yama is just out of range.
Beowulf fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yama looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Beowulf clinches up with Yama and pushes him back against the cage.
Beowulf lands a body shot.
Beowulf lands with a left to the head.
A shot in the inside from Beowulf.
Beowulf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Beowulf throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Yama crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Liberius Beowulf!
A determined Liberius Beowulf didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
