Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Mustayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustayne is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Holy Wars.. The Punishment Due. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Hobbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Mustayne! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mustayne dodges the punch combination from Hobbs.
Hobbs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mustayne. Hobbs throws a jab when Mustayne was well out of range. Hobbs thows a left - swing and a miss! Hobbs gets a double leg takedown into Mustayne's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hobbs scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hobbs's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mustayne is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hobbs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hobbs has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hobbs slips nicely into half guard. Mustayne manages to get to full guard.
Hobbs postures up and lands a big shot to Mustayne's brow. Mustayne wants to sweep but no luck. Hobbs might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hobbs is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mustayne has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hobbs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mustayne wants to sweep but no luck. Hobbs showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hobbs wants to control from the top but Mustayne keeps moving. Mustayne looking for subs off his back but Hobbs has passed one foot through into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hobbs takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mustayne tries to roll over but Hobbs keeps him under control. Mustayne wants to control but Hobbs is keeping busy.
Hobbs with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Luke Hobbs has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Mustayne swings widly with a right hand
and Hobbs counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mustayne thinking. Hobbs avoids the body shot from Mustayne.
Hobbs dives in and scores a takedown into Mustayne's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mustayne has momentary wrist control but Hobbs slips an elbow through the middle. Mustayne not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mustayne escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hobbs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hobbs sitting in guard here, content to control. This has been an exciting period of action! Hobbs lands a couple of elbows. Hobbs stands up over Mustayne, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hobbs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mustayne has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hobbs has managed to get both his arms back between Mustayne's legs - danger averted. Hobbs pushing down on Mustayne's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hobbs works his foot free and advances to mount. Hobbs lands a big elbow.
It looks like David Mustayne has been cut. Hobbs in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mustayne is trying desperately to improve position. Hobbs controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hobbs lands a heavy elbow.
That has opened up David Mustayne's cut even more. Hobbs lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Hobbs dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Mustayne's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hobbs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mustayne.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Mustayne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Luke Hobbs!
