Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matthew McPain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAngelo Spite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spite has chosen "Here Comes The Boom" - Nelly as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew McPain!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, DeAngelo Spite!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPain slips a jab and a cross from Spite.

McPain shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spite's guard.
Spite is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Spite is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McPain asserts his dominance and retains side control.

McPain shoots for a double leg takedown but Spite sprawls well. He's pushed McPain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Matthew McPain will probably get the nod.

Spite throws a series of strikes that have McPain backpedaling.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matthew McPain.
I think McPain has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
