Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Michalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Beckenbauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Michalski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Franz Beckenbauer! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beckenbauer has managed to clinch.
Beckenbauer wants to break the clinch but can't.
Michalski has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beckenbauer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Michalski missing with knees to the body.
Michalski has Beckenbauer pressed against the cage, preventing Beckenbauer from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Beckenbauer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Beckenbauer manages to pull guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Michalski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beckenbauer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beckenbauer working for a triangle but Michalski defends it easily.

Michalski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Michalski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Beckenbauer has his feet on Michalski's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Beckenbauer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Michalski. Beckenbauer closes the distance and clinches. Michalski blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Beckenbauer tries to score a body lock takedown but Michalski shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Michalski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beckenbauer.

Michalski is really struggling to control Beckenbauer but he's trying to hold on to the position. Michalski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Beckenbauer! Beckenbauer working to try and regain half guard.

Beckenbauer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Michalski wants to control from the top but Beckenbauer keeps moving. Michalski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beckenbauer on the ground. Beckenbauer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

It looks like he's going for a triangle but Michalski is defending well. Beckenbauer quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Michalski has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Beckenbauer celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
