Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Thomason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Hilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomason comes to the cage accompanied by 5 Minutes Alone. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomason shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hilo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thomason can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Thomason's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hilo has eaten all the pies!
Thomason lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Hilo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hilo closes the distance and clinches.

Hilo tries to circle away but Thomason has him pinned against the cage.
Hilo is trying to break the clinch but Thomason is controlling him.
Hilo scores a nice knee to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thomason has Hilo pressed against the cage, preventing Hilo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Thomason wants the takedown. Hilo is fighting it off but Thomason persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hilo's guard against the cage.
Hilo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Thomason defends it easily.
Hilo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Thomason frees his head nicely. Oh but Hilo has switched to an armbar! Thomason is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
