Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mickey O Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicius Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruger has chosen House Boulevard - Set Me Free as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Kruger!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Neil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kruger swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kruger throws a big shot that misses.
O Neil tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kruger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
O Neil closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kruger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kruger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Neil gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kruger takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
O Neil misses with the head strike.
O Neil lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kruger backwards.
O Neil makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
O Neil misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kruger stalling in the clinch.
Kruger turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Kruger thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kruger is trying to get an arm triangle but O Neil is defending well.

Kruger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kruger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kruger tries for a kimura but O Neil is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ground and pound from Kruger seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Kruger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kruger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kruger is looking to take a break and control but O Neil is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kruger wants to control for a moment but O Neil uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
O Neil is defending against the submission attempts here by Kruger.

Kruger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kruger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so O Neil is just riding it out for now. Kruger eventually gives up the hold.
O Neil moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kruger drops back, looking for a kneebar! O Neil looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. O Neil looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from O Neil!
O Neil decides to stand back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kruger takes a jab right on the kisser.
A combination from Kruger does no damage.
O Neil throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kruger throws an overhand right that lands on O Neil's shoulder, as O Neil tries to avoid the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vinicius Kruger dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kruger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Neil misses with a body shot.
Kruger lands a jab.
It looks like Mickey O Neil has been cut.
Kruger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. O Neil defends it nicely.
Kruger misses with a looping left.
Kruger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from O Neil finds it's way round the side to connect with Kruger's head.
O Neil throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
O Neil lands a jab to the nose.
Kruger throws a looping overhand right but O Neil ducks down to avoid it.
Left hook, right uppercut from O Neil.
O Neil moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

O Neil displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kruger throws out the jab.

Kruger fails to land with a series of punches.
O Neil lands a nice hook to Kruger's body. Kruger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
O Neil misses with a hook. Kruger ducked under it nicely.
O Neil misses with a left hand
and Kruger counters with a nice body shot.
O Neil scores with a nice head shot.
Kruger looks to score with a jab to the body but O Neil is just out of range.
O Neil staying out of range there.
O Neil defending well as Kruger loads up on a big left hand.
O Neil connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kruger. Kruger circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kruger shoots for a takedown but O Neil saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
O Neil throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kruger lands an overhand right.
O Neil goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Mickey O Neil is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
O Neil tries to clinch but Kruger is having none of it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice defenses there by O Neil.

Left hook, right uppercut from O Neil.
Kruger is rocked!
O Neil fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kruger is still on wobbly legs! Can O Neil finish him?
and O Neil counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kruger! He's just covering up as O Neil starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey O Neil!
Mickey O Neil decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
