Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antti Puustinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alik Tseiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Puustinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alik Tseiko!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tseiko shoots in looking for a takedown but Puustinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tseiko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tseiko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tseiko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Antti Puustinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alik Tseiko.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Puustinen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Puustinen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tseiko gets to his feet. Puustinen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Puustinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tseiko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Puustinen pinned against the cage. Puustinen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tseiko has an active guard here but Puustinen has managed to pass into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tseiko is not content to let Puustinen control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Antti Puustinen will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Puustinen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tseiko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Puustinen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tseiko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tseiko is on top in guard.
Puustinen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tseiko on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Puustinen tries to buck Tseiko off but Tseiko is having none of it.

Tseiko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tseiko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puustinen looks to move to half guard but instead Tseiko has passed into mount! Damn!

Puustinen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Alik Tseiko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tseiko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
