The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGavin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ribbon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McGavin.
Ribbon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGavin is looking to clinch.
Ribbon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ribbon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McGavin blocks a head kick by Ribbon.
McGavin wants to clinch up but Ribbon keeps it at a distance.
Ribbon doesn't manage to clinch there - McGavin circles away.
McGavin scores with a leg kick.
Ribbon looks gassed!
McGavin pushes Ribbon up against the ropes in a clinch.
McGavin avoiding damage as Ribbon throws knees to the body.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Ribbon throws an elbow but misses.
McGavin tries a knee to the head but Ribbon blocks it.
McGavin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ribbon.
Ribbon avoids the elbow strike from McGavin, against the ropes.
McGavin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Ribbon is posturing up here but McGavin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ribbon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ribbon has to tap! Slick submission there by McGavin!
