Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Mambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syntha Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Syntha Six!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mambo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mambo shoots in but Six avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mambo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Six pinned against the cage. Six gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Mambo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mambo is taking a breather. Six says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Mambo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Six trying his best to control but Mambo has mounted him.

Mambo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Six has worked his arm free - good work by Six!
Six holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Six is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mambo is controlling him well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mambo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Six is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Mambo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Six!

Mambo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Six is now in Mambo's guard. A big mistake from Mambo there, giving up the dominant position!
Mambo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Six wants to control but Mambo is having none of it.
Six is looking to get to half guard.
Six takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Six is squirming around, avoiding Mambo's attempts to control the action.

Mambo goes for an armbar but Six turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Six.

Mambo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Six is working away from the top position though.
Mambo is looking for a sweep. Six is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Six shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Six was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mambo is desperately trying to improve his position but Six has a good base and remains in mount.
Six tries to control but Mambo wriggling away.
Mambo can't escape the position.
Six can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mambo is looking to escape.

Mambo regains half guard.
Six is trying to control the action in half guard but Mambo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Mambo manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Six doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mambo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Don Mambo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Six is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mambo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mambo's back!
Six gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Syntha Six has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
Don Mambo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mambo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
