The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cade moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Talha. That did some damage!
Talha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cade but Cade pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Talha stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cade.
Talha slips a jab and a cross from Cade.
Cade scores with a jab to the body.
Cade's corner calls for a 1-2. Cade obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Cade takes a swing at Talha's ribcage but misses.
Cade swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Talha shoots for a takedown but Cade saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cade swats away the attempt to clinch by Talha.

Cade throws a series of punches but Talha avoids them all with ease.

Talha takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Cade misses with a few strikes there.
Cade with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cade throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Talha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cade ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cade fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Talha has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cade throws a body punch but Talha moves out of range.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Talha. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Talha fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cade avoids it really well and circles away.
Cade is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Talha had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Cade looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cade fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Talha has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cade lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Talha at a distance.
Talha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Talha walks into a left hand.
Cade connects with an inside leg kick.
Cade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Talha. That did some damage!
Cade throws a shot from downtown. Talha moves away and avoids it.
Cade stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cade, right into the meat.
Talha is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Cade cracks the inside of Talha's front leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cade cracks Talha with an open hand slap.
Talha closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Talha gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Cade gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Talha is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carver Cade!
Carver Cade took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
