Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johan Moneymaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gauthier Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lambert feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Moneymaker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Moneymaker tries to get out of the position.
Lambertis looking to pass into half guard but Moneymaker pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Moneymaker is in guard.

Lambert fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Moneymaker avoids it really well and circles away.
Moneymaker feints a jab promting Lambert to slip. Moneymaker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lambert slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Gauthier Lambert has been cut.

Moneymaker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Moneymaker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Moneymaker moves into range and clinches up with Lambert.
Moneymaker lands an elbow inside that Lambert shrugs off.

Lambert has hold of one of Moneymaker's legs. Moneymaker is fighting the takedown attempt but Lambert gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Moneymaker wriggles free and stands up.
Moneymaker leaves Lambert with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Moneymaker counters with a straight right hand.

Lambert has picked Moneymaker up - he's going for a ride! Lambert dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Still in half guard, Lambert seems content to control.
Lambert is just content to waste time from the top position. Moneymaker takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Moneymaker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Moneymaker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lambert is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Moneymaker.

Lambert tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moneymaker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lambert somewhat.

Lambert shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moneymaker pinned against the cage. Moneymaker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Moneymaker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lambert shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lambert doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Moneymaker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Moneymaker throws a series of strikes that have Lambert backpedaling.
Moneymaker moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Lambert tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lambert shoots in but no luck this time.
Moneymaker tries to clinch but Lambert moves out of range.
Lambert fails with the takedown.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Lambert tries for a takedown but Moneymaker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Moneymaker fakes the leg kick and cracks Lambert in the body.
Lambert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moneymaker but Moneymaker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Moneymaker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Moneymaker lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Lambert is rocked!
Moneymaker goes for a small jab and connects. Now Moneymaker goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Lambert stumbles back but Moneymaker runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Lambert to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Lambert will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
