Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Ray Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonii Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaa has chosen Remember The Name as his entrance music. Tonii Jaa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ray Kicker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tonii Jaa! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaa fails to land with a series of punches.

Kicker loads up on a big right hand but Jaa slips the punch. Jaa throws a series of punches but Kicker moves out of range. Kicker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kicker throws a leg kick but Jaa moved away. Jaa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Jaa throws a head kick that misses. Jaa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kicker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaa throws a nice looking combination but Kicker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A head kick misses from Kicker. Kicker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kicker misses with a low kick.
Kicker looks to land a body kick but Jaa moved away. Kicker attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Jaa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kicker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kicker throws a sloppy head kick and Jaa moves out of range easily. Kicker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jaa. Jaa clinches up against the ropes. Kicker connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jaa's face.
It looks like Tonii Jaa has been cut. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kicker as Jaa tries to tie him up. Kicker misses with a punch to the body.

Jaa wants to get back to striking at distance but Kicker won't allow it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jaa tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jaa is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Jaa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That was a close round but I would say that Ray Kicker will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tonii Jaa's cut. That's time! Kicker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kicker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kicker tries to work over Jaa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jaa lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kicker backwards. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Kicker is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Kicker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jaa was well out of range. Poor timing from Kicker. An inside leg kick from Kicker misses. Kicker thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jaa if he has to take too many more of those.

Jaa is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Kicker scores with a hook to the body. Jaa seems to have recovered his senses. Kicker lands a right hand. Kicker cracks Jaa with a nice body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Ray Kicker showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kicker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
