The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branch looks to land a left hand but Geofini moved out of range nicely.
Branch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Drew Branch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Branch gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Geofini stopping the sweep attempt from Branch.
Geofini looking to sit in guard and control but Branch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Geofini is on top in guard.

Geofini is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Branch has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Geofini is looking to defend but Branch has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Geofini! Branch pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Geofini taps out and this one is all over!
