The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Tomlinson.
Tomlinson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lopez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tomlinson misses with a head kick.
Lopez avoids a punch combination nicely.

Tomlinson throws a nice looking combination but Lopez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Tomlinson tries to get to full guard but Lopez has control of the leg.
Tomlinson tries to kick Lopez off but Lopez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Lopez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tomlinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lopez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lopez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tomlinson keeps working.
Lopez slips a nice elbow through Tomlinson's hands, connecting with Tomlinson's forehead.
Lopez frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Lopez postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Tomlinson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lopez around the waist but Lopez pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lopez is the winner by TKO! Lopez jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
