Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermode tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wright manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wright fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wright misses with a looping right.
Kermode takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kermode. That's going to slow Wright down.
Kermode is looking to clinch but Wright is avoiding it.
Kermode wants to clinch up but Wright keeps it at a distance.
Kermode clinches up with Wright and pushes him back against the cage.

Kermode tries to work over Wright's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kermode lands an elbow inside that Wright shrugs off.
Kermode will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wright up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wright just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kermode's brow.
Kermode's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Kermode lands a nice uppercut.
Kermode has Wright pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Wright is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Kermode - that's hurt Wright badly! Oh, another knee lands and Wright is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Wright doesn't seem to be complaining.
