Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ivailo Bakalov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Greatest Ever!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakalov closes the distance but Ever moves to the side
and Ever counters with a series of strikes. Bakalov will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ever leaves Bakalov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bakalov shoots in looking for a takedown but Ever manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bakalov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ever darts in and clinches Bakalov up against the cage.
Ever has had enough of the clinch but Bakalov keeps him there for the moment.
Bakalov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivailo Bakalov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ever leaning against his opponent.
Ever wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bakalov has him pressed against the cage.
Ever is trying to break the clinch but Bakalov is controlling him.
Ever displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bakalov up against the cage.
Bakalov is trying to maintain a safe position but Ever gets an underhook and turns Bakalov into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ever lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ever working hard to break the clinch.
Bakalov trying to stall but Ever improves his position.
Ever wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ever stalling against the cage.
Ever is trying to break free.
A right handed body shot lands from Ever.
Bakalov has Ever pressed against the cage, preventing Ever from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ever is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bakalov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ever prevents it.
Ever wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bakalov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ever misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ever fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bakalov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bakalov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bakalov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bakalov is rocked!
A shot to the liver by Ever. Beautiful body shot.
Oh Bakalov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Greatest Ever seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bakalov is breathing heavily.
Bakalov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bakalov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ever dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bakalov is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Ever doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Bakalov crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Bakalov's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Greatest Ever!
