And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Scott lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Champy throws out a powerful jab.
Champy feints and as Scott raises his hands in defense, Champy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Scott can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Champy controls the pace.
Champy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Champy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Scott utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Champy tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott wants to control but Champy is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Scott is staying active underneath Champy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Champy thows a huge punch but Scott dodges it nicely.

Champy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Champy! Scott is hurt baaadly! Champy is firing away with more strikes - Scott is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
