Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huber comes into the arena with Boom Boom Pow blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Gavin Huber has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard.
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson is looking for a triangle but Huber pushes his legs off easily.
Huber looking to pass the guard.
Huber decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get!
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Huber.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Huber takes one to the chin there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Huber is just out of range.
Johnson scores with a hook to the body. Huber takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Huber is trying to get back to full guard.
Johnson is looking for a kimura here.

Huber makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Huber.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Huber is on top in guard.
Johnson has his foot on Huber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huber works his way back into a safe position though.
Huber wants to stand but Johnson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Huber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Huber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Huber tries to stand but Johnson is controlling from the bottom.
Johnson wants to sweep here but Huber controlling him for the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Huber looking to pass the guard.
Johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Huber is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Huber's back instead.
Johnson looking for the choke from the back.
Johnson doesn't have the hooks in and Huber manages to turn into his guard.
Johnson looking for a guillotine here but Huber defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson working for a triangle but Huber defends it easily.
Huber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Huber stands and steps away. Johnson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Johnson misses with the combination.
Huber tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Huber moves out of range of the body kick.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Huber takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Huber has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a nice body shot.
Johnson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Huber is rocked!
Johnson lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Huber can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Johnson and Huber drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Johnson.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Johnson!
