Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Lister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Lister! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eugene Hall! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lister throws a leg kick but Hall checks it. Hall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lister.
Lister moves out of range as Hall strikes. Lister slips a straight right by Hall. Hall throws the left hand but Lister avoids the punch easily. Hall throws the left hand but Lister avoids the punch easily. Hall tries to bum rush Lister with a series of wild strikes but Lister uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lister uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hall. Lister defending well as Hall loads up on a big left hand. Hall throws a body punch but Lister moves out of range. Lister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lister slips under a jab from Hall. Hall walks into a jab. Eugene Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall throws a hook to the side of Lister's head but Lister sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hall throws a hook but Lister blocks it. Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lister moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lister ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lister ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lister misses with a double jab.
A big right from Hall misses. A clash of legs there as Hall blocks the low kick. Lister misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hall.

and Hall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hall jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lister sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lister dips to his left and cracks Hall with an uppercut! Lister shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Lister tries to control but Hall wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lister looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Lister with shots to the head and body - Hall looks very uncomfortable down there. Hall is looking to improve his position but Lister isn't that keen on the idea. Lister raining down shots from the mount! Hall takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Lister looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Hall tries to hold on but Lister pushes him away. Lister cracks Hall with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lister has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hall's face.
Lister is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hall is surviving well by controlling Lister's body position as best he can. Hall tries to hold on but Lister postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Lister works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall tries to lock up and control but Lister gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Lister is staying active. Lister controlling from mount. Hall is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hall tries to hold on but Lister postures up. Lister lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lister with shots to the head and body - Hall looks very uncomfortable down there. Hall is desperately trying to improve his position but Lister has a good base and remains in mount. Lister is landing with some decent strikes but Hall is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Lister dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lister manages to avoid it.
Hall is rocked! Lister closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lister lands in his opponent's guard. Hall is still in real trouble! Can Lister finish him? Lister could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lister controls the pace. Lister working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Lister controlling from the top position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lister is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hall has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lister is looking to defend but Hall has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lister! Hall pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lister taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Eugene Hall!
