Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Luwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tydog Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luwin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Davis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Luwin postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it.
Luwin tries to free his leg and advance position but Davis is retaining full guard.
Luwin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Luwin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Davis's head.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Luwin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Luwin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Davis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Luwin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Davis.
