Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike ONeil!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward avoids the body shot from ONeil.
ONeil lands with a good body shot.
ONeil throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ward takes a shot to the body in his stride.
ONeil sizes up Ward with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
ONeil scores with a body shot.
Ward is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in ONeil's half guard.
Ward passes the guard and advances to mount!
Ward misses with a head shot.
Ward fails to take his opponent's back.
Ward has hold of ONeil's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and ONeil manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ward looking to control but ONeil is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ward working for a submission but ONeil is keeping him at bay.
Ward is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But ONeil has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from ONeil!

ONeil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ward. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ward is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Ward is looking to advance position but ONeil won't allow it.
Ward moves nicely into side control.

Ward misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ward tries to score with some ground and pound. ONeil controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ward throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
ONeil avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ward.
Ward in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... ONeil is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
