Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Watermelon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watermelon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Anstey circles away. Anstey leaves Watermelon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Watermelon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Anstey. Those never looked like landing. Anstey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Watermelon. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Watermelon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Watermelon dodges the punch combination from Anstey.

This has been an exciting period of action! Anstey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Watermelon's guard.
