Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Derek Tiny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cro Crap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cro Crap lands a high kick!

It looks like Derek Tiny has been cut.

Tiny tries to keep at a distance but Cro Crap has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tiny can't break the clinch.

Cro Crap turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cro Crap manages to end up in side control.

Cro Crap decides to stand back up. Cro Crap steps back and let's Tiny get back to his feet.
Tiny throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tiny moves into the clinch successfully.

Cro Crap breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tiny decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cro Crap changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tiny tries to avoid it but Cro Crap manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tiny to the ground. Tiny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I looks like Cro Crap might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Tiny wants to get back to his feet but Cro Crap is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tiny is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cro Crap is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Tiny wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cro Crap has him pressed against the cage.

Cro Crap has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tiny is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tiny wants to stand and escape but instead Cro Crap has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
