Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho - 50 Cent. Liddell has chosen Bring Me Down (Swollen Mix Feat. Saigon) as his entrance music. Tyler Liddell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randall Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Liddell! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws a right hand that Liddell ducks under and follows up with a left that Liddell also avoids with ease. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Liddell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Liddell! Johnson controlling from the full mount. Johnson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Liddell looks a forlorn figure.
Johnson controlling from mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson controlling the pace for now. Johnson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Johnson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Johnson landing strikes from the mount and Liddell is in trouble! Liddell squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Johnson controlling the pace for now. Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liddell for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Johnson. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johnson throwing strikes but Liddell bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Johnson pushes Liddell off and scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Liddell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Liddell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes. Randall Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Liddell.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson feints and as Liddell raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson sitting in guard here, content to control. Johnson stands and throws Liddell's legs to the side, diving into side control. Johnson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Liddell! Liddell is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Liddell squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randall Johnson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Johnson instigates a clinch. Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Liddell prevents it.
Johnson gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson stops Liddell from getting back to his feet.
Johnson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Liddell's temple. Randall Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Johnson in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Randall Johnson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Liddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Liddell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Liddell keeps the fight on the outside. Liddell fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Liddell is breathing heavily. Johnson cracks Liddell with a big right hand but Liddell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson taking a breather here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Liddell keeps working. Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Randall Johnson. Liddell throws a poor cross that misses
and Johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Johnson throws a right hand that Liddell ducks under and follows up with a left that Liddell also avoids with ease. Randall Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Liddell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Liddell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. Randall Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Liddell. Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Liddell's guard. Johnson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Liddell's guard. Liddell is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Johnson thows a huge punch but Liddell dodges it nicely.
Johnson passes to side control. Johnson just content to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Liddell taking a bit of punishment here - Johnson scoring with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Liddell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson won't allow Liddell to get back to his feet. Liddell being controlled here, momentarily. Randall Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Randall Johnson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Johnson slips a straight right by Liddell. Johnson closes the distance and clinches. Liddell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Liddell is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing. Liddell gets control of Johnson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Liddell will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Liddell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him. Liddell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Johnson trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Randall Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
