With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Sonoda!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Street lands with a cross.
St Street bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sonoda.

Sonoda drives through with a takedown into St Street's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
St Street utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sonoda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sonoda keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of St Street's head.

Sonoda makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sonoda stands up over St Street, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Yuki Sonoda dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Sonoda fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
St Street feints and then cracks Sonoda's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sonoda down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sonoda scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh St Street is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sonoda can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuki Sonoda!
An out of breath Yuki Sonoda thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
