The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizal lands a nice shot to the body.
Mendon walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rizal checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mendon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rizal swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mendon looks to throw the jab but Rizal is out of range.
Mendon is looking to clinch but Rizal is avoiding it.
Rizal swats away the attempt to clinch by Mendon.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rizal.
