Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law comes to the cage accompanied by pretender. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law keeps the fight on the outside.
Law shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Law could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hansen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Law walks away with a smile on his face. Hansen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Law shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but Law keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hansen is trying to pull guard but Law turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Hansen's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Law working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hansen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hansen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Derek Law will probably get the nod.
