The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choke tries for a takedown but Magnum circles away easily
and Magnum makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Magnum thuds a left hand into Choke's body.
Choke has his takedown stuffed
and Magnum counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Magnum misses with a two punch combination.
Nice shot by Magnum.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Choke misses with a takedown
and Magnum counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Pete Magnum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Choke.
Choke looks gassed!
Choke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Magnum to counter with a crisp jab.
Choke is trying desperately to land a takedown but Magnum is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Choke.
Donk. Magnum catches Choke right on the button with a cross.
Magnum connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Johnny Choke has been cut.
Magnum lands a body shot.
Magnum cracks a nice hook into Choke's ribs.
A punch combination from Magnum misses.
Choke dodges the punch combination from Magnum.
Choke avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Choke shoots and misses
and Magnum counters with a one-two to the body.
Choke with a poor takedown
and Magnum counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Choke! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

After the fight, Pete Magnum was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
