The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman wants to clinch up but Meadows keeps it at a distance.
Jack Meadows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Freeman moves in looking to clinch but Meadows pushes him off.

and Meadows counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Meadows.
Freeman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Meadows stands and throws Freeman's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Freeman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Meadows cranks the arm and Freeman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Freeman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
