Jabouin comes to the cage accompanied by Trobule On My Mind- Pusha T and Tyler The Creator. Tanaka has chosen Yuudachi as his entrance music. Yves Jabouin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabouin moves out of range of the strikes.
Tanaka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jabouin pinned against the cage. Jabouin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jabouin lands a nice shot to the body.
Jabouin dips to his left and cracks Tanaka with an uppercut!
Tanaka slips under a jab.
Jabouin misses with a body kick.
Tanaka on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jabouin. Jabouin obviously looking to wear him down.
Jabouin lands a nice shot that snaps Tanaka's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tanaka controlling from the full mount.
Tanaka pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
A nice elbow there by Tanaka.
Tanaka lands a big shot there that rocks Jabouin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tanaka wants to control the pace but Jabouin is squirming around nicely.
Tanaka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

After the fight, Shinji Tanaka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
