The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.
Tate catches Davis napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Davis to the canvas!
It looks like Vin Davis has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tate trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tate can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Davis pushes a forearm under Tate's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Tate is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
