Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avan Strash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Rodinerio Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bravo 's choice of entrance music: Damian Marley - Confrontation. Avan Strash could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joey Rodinerio Bravo 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avan Strash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Rodinerio Bravo !
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strash takes a swing at Bravo 's ribcage but misses.
Bravo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Strash looks to land a right hand but Bravo moved out of range.

Bravo instigates a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Strash as Bravo tries to tie him up.
Bravo can't get the takedown.
A nice left hand lands by Strash.
Strash is trying to push Bravo away but Bravo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bravo taking a breather.
Bravo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Strash prevents it.
Avan Strash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey Rodinerio Bravo .
Bravo 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bravo trying to stall but Strash improves his position.
Bravo has a couple of punches blocked by Strash.
Strash tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bravo 's elbow.
Strash is looking to break free of the clinch but Bravo has double underhooks.
Bravo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Strash pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bravo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Strash swivels and escapes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bravo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Strash.
Bravo moves in looking to clinch but Strash pushes him off.
A slow jab from Strash misses its intended target.
Bravo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bravo shoots in for a double leg but Strash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Strash tests Bravo 's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Strash defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bravo .
Strash circles away from the clinch attempt.
Strash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Avan Strash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bravo is defended easily by Strash.

Strash rushes Bravo and presses him up against the cage.
Bravo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Strash walks away with a smile on his face. Bravo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bravo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bravo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Strash.
Bravo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Strash makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Strash getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Strash has knocked Bravo down with a huge combo! Strash steps away and waves a wobbly Bravo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Bravo is rocked!


It looks like Joey Rodinerio Bravo has been cut.
Strash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bravo is still on wobbly legs! Can Strash finish him?

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bravo takes a shot to the head.

Bravo gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Bravo seems to be working for a kimura but Strash defends the submission attempt.

Bravo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Strash defends it well.
Bravo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Strash knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bravo seems to have recovered his senses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bravo stalling.
Bravo wants to free his trapped foot but Strash is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Strash is trying to stand back up but Bravo is controlling him

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bravo tries to pass to full mount but Strash defends it.

Bravo wants to work for an arm triangle but Strash is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bravo wants to control but Strash is keeping him busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bravo is working for a kimura but Strash is defending it quite comfortably.

Bravo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Avan Strash dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joey Rodinerio Bravo 's cut.
That's time! Strash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Strash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Strash pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Strash works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Bravo has closed the distance and engaged Strash in a clinch.

Bravo pulls guard successfully.
Strash preventing the sweep.
Strash trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bravo 's guard.

Bravo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bravo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Strash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Strash manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bravo wants to sweep here but Strash controlling him for the moment.
Strash tries to stand but Bravo is controlling from the bottom.
Strash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bravo on the ground.

Bravo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bravo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Strash throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bravo 's body to avoid the submission. Bravo has instead reached around Strash's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bravo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Joey Rodinerio Bravo !
Joey Rodinerio Bravo very nearly forgot to thank Just Fight amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
