Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frost Kinsella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost Kinsella looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rico Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frost Kinsella! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinsella tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sanchez has closed the distance and engaged Kinsella in a clinch.
Sanchez breaks the clinch.
A head kick misses from Kinsella. Sanchez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sanchez. Sanchez lands with a left to the head. Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kinsella moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sanchez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kinsella.
Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time. Sanchez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kinsella's guard. Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Kinsella is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanchez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Sanchez passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinsella wants to get back to his feet.
Sanchez is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sanchez decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kinsella lands the left hand. Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kinsella, pushing him back against the cage. Kinsella has Sanchez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sanchez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez jumps guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez trying to strike off his back.
Sanchez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Sanchez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sanchez tries to get out of the position. Kinsella won't allow Sanchez to get back to his feet. Sanchez tries to strike from the bottom.
Sanchez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sanchez has control of Kinsella's left arm, preventing Kinsella from doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sanchez has managed to clinch.
Kinsella tries for a takedown but Sanchez manages to get underhooks.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sanchez takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sanchez drags the fight down to the ground.
Kinsella stands up over Sanchez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sanchez working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Sanchez dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sanchez slips a jab from Kinsella. Kinsella missing with a left hand there. Sanchez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kinsella swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A kick lands to the mid section there for Sanchez. Kinsella takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses. Frost Kinsella seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez moves into the clinch successfully.

Sanchez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kinsella. Sanchez swings and misses with a shot to the body and Sanchez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sanchez clinches up against the cage. Sanchez pulls guard. Kinsella is breathing heavily. Sanchez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kinsella is one step ahead there. Sanchez is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Sanchez drags the fight down to the ground.

Sanchez pulls Kinsella in close to his closed guard and prevents Kinsella from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sanchez trying to strike off his back.
Sanchez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kinsella wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling his posture from full guard. Sanchez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kinsella!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sanchez looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Kinsella is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kinsella tries to buck Sanchez off but he can't manage it. Sanchez goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kinsella is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sanchez trying to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Sanchez dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kinsella misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Kinsella or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez which made him look bad. Sanchez clinches with his opponent.
Sanchez breaks from the clinch.
Kinsella shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sanchez as he avoids it easily. Kinsella takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez. Sanchez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sanchez showed some decent athleticism there. Sanchez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kinsella is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sanchez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sanchez's back! Kinsella gets his hands free as Sanchez looks to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kinsella lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Sanchez hold on?!

Kinsella is working the ground and pound. Can Sanchez escape? Sanchez manages to escape to his feet. Kinsella wants to clinch but Sanchez slips to the side and Sanchez counters by moving into the clinch. Sanchez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rico Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kinsella has had enough of the clinch but Sanchez keeps him there for the moment. Sanchez breaks from the clinch.
Kinsella connects with a looping right hand.
Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kinsella scores with a decent looking hook. Sanchez throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Sanchez forces Kinsella back against the cage and clinches. Sanchez breaks from the clinch.

Sanchez successfully pulls guard.
Kinsella wants to get up but he can't break Sanchez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Frost Kinsella has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanchez looking to control.
Sanchez pulls Kinsella in close to his closed guard and prevents Kinsella from doing any damage or advancing position. Sanchez kicks Kinsella off and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kinsella takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A good leg kick by Sanchez. Kinsella throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kinsella stuffs the takedown. Sanchez has closed the distance and engaged Kinsella in a clinch.
Sanchez jumps guard and drags Kinsella to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sanchez is looking for a triangle but Kinsella pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kinsella.
And that's the end of the fight! Rico Sanchez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanchez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
