The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Out.
Smith tries to clinch up but Out circles away and keeps his distance.

A nice right hand lands inside from Smith.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smith wants to break free but Out has control.

Smith lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Out moves forwards but Smith connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Smith throws a shot to the body.
Smith thuds a left hand into Out's body.
Smith tries to clinch there but Out circles away.

Out blocks an uppercut.
Smith tries to break free but Out pushes him back against the cage.
Smith misses with a short punch on the inside.
Smith lands a left hand that snaps the head of Out backwards.

Smith is looking to control Out's arms but Out gets an underhook and turns him. Now Smith has his back to the cage.

Smith wants to break free but Out has control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Smith.
Out prevents Smith from breaking the clinch.

Out pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Smith throws a jab when Out was well out of range.
Smith fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Out counters with a three punch combo that has Smith backing up. Smith nods at Out to acknowledge the strikes.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Out swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Out circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knock Out is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Smith engages and cracks Out with a massive lead left hook - Out tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Smith is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Terry Smith decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
