The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krozz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Krozz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Segura.
Krozz slips a straight right by Segura.
Segura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Krozz sprawls well. Krozz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Segura gets slowly back to his feet.
A lazy left from Krozz finds it's target.
Krozz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Krozz connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Christian Segura has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Segura feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Krozz has control of Segura's left arm, preventing Segura from doing any damage.
Segura passes into half guard.
Segura thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Segura is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Krozz defends it well.
Segura looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Segura is pressing down on Krozz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Krozz is holding on for now.
Krozz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Krozz is defending against the submission attempts here by Segura.
Segura is trying to work for a kimura but Krozz is defending well.
