Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Kazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krigare kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Achtung Pantzer by Raubtier. Kazuki is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Effects of Hiroshima. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sho Kazuki!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazuki with a nice cross.
Kazuki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Kazuki misses
and Krigare counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kazuki thuds his shin into the meat of Krigare's side.
Kazuki takes a swing at Krigare's ribcage but misses.
A left lands for Krigare.
Sho Kazuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kazuki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Krigare under the eye.
Kazuki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kazuki rushes Krigare and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Krigare blocking some punches.
Krigare tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kazuki cracks Krigare with a nice body shot.
Kazuki lands a nice uppercut.
Krigare goes for a takedown attempt but Kazuki pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kazuki throws a hook but Krigare avoids it easily.

Kazuki throws a leg kick but Krigare sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kazuki. Krigare shrugs it off though.
Kazuki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Krigare throws an overhand right that lands on Kazuki's shoulder, as Kazuki tries to avoid the shot.

The crowd cheers as Kazuki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Krigare doesn't seem phased though.
Kazuki has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kazuki there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kazuki throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sho Kazuki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kazuki takes a swing at Krigare's ribcage but misses.
Krigare slips a straight right by Kazuki.
Kazuki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krigare swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Krigare staying out of range there.
Kazuki cracks Krigare with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Krigare misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Krigare throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kazuki scores with the left hand. Krigare knows he should have avoided that one.

Kazuki moves into range and clinches up with Krigare.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Kazuki scores with a shoulder strike.
Krigare lands a body punch in the clinch.

Krigare turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Krigare manages to end up in side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kazuki sneaks back into half guard.
Kazuki tries to kick Krigare off but Krigare keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kazuki moves into full guard.

Kazuki is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kazuki keeping moving, preventing Krigare from controlling successfully.
Kazuki wants to get back to his feet but Krigare is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Krigare connects with a couple of short punches.

Kazuki uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Nice cross by Kazuki.
Krigare checks a leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kazuki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Krigare has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Krigare and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Krigare steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kazuki.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Krigare has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Krigare there as he acknowledges the shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kazuki.
A jab from Kazuki finds it's way through Krigare's defenses.
Krigare throws out a loose jab but Kazuki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Krigare shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kazuki checks a leg kick.
Kazuki lands a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circling - Kazuki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Krigare looks for a takedown but Kazuki sprawls well.
Kazuki thows a left - swing and a miss!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Krigare circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kazuki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krigare swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kazuki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Krigare.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sho Kazuki dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Krigare lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kazuki or not.
Kazuki prevents the takedown attempt.

Krigare tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kazuki's elbow.
Kazuki pushes Krigare back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Krigare just leaning against Kazuki, taking a breather.
Krigare gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Still in the clinch, Krigare scores with a nice short uppercut.

Kazuki slows down the pace here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kazuki fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Kazuki misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kazuki scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Krigare keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kazuki's efforts to push away.

Krigare breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kazuki thows a leg kick but Krigare checks it
and Krigare counters with a left to the body.
Krigare shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kazuki as he avoids it easily.
Krigare lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kazuki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Krigare has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kazuki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kazuki scoring well with a low kick there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Krigare scores with the left hand. Kazuki knows he should have avoided that one.

Kazuki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kazuki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Krigare connects with a crisp jab.

Kazuki is still on wobbly legs! Can Krigare finish him?

Kazuki throws a hook but Krigare blocks it.

Krigare drops Kazuki with a huge uppercut! Kazuki drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Krigare is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
