The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Vourture there.
Hyde moves out of range of the strikes.
Vourture avoids a punch combination nicely.

Vourture works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Vourture counters with a nice uppercut.

and Hyde takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hyde decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hyde drops an elbow to the side of Vourture's head.
Hyde slips a nice elbow through Vourture's hands, connecting with Vourture's forehead.

Hyde is working for a submission of some sort.

Hyde decides to stand and escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hyde misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hyde tries a head kick but it misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Vishis Vourture will probably get the nod.
That's time! Vourture's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vourture creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyde is looking to pass Vourture's guard but actually Vourture recovers to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hyde accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hyde keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hyde, right into the meat.
Vourture lands with a right that hurts Hyde. Hyde looks to clinch but Vourture throws a short knee that drops Hyde. This one is all over!
