Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Sash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johann Bruno!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruno gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sash is looking to break free of the clinch but Bruno has double underhooks.
Bruno breaks the clinch.
Bruno throws a series of punches but Sash moves out of range.
Sash scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Johann Bruno has been cut.
Bruno looks for the body kick but Sash saw that one coming.
Bruno takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sash throws a right hand that Bruno ducks under and follows up with a left that Bruno also avoids with ease.
Sash ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bruno. Sash shrugs it off though.
Sash misses with a combination
and Bruno counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sash thinking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bruno.
No joy there for Sash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bruno pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sash cracks Bruno with an open hand slap.
Sash sizes up Bruno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sash lands with a shot to the body.
Bruno slips a jab and a cross from Sash.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sash connects with a body shot that sends Bruno's belly button to the back.
Sash jabs Bruno right on the nose. Bruno blinks but takes it well.
Sash defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bruno.
Sash lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Bruno out cold! Bruno is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Don Sash!
After the fight, Don Sash was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
