Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vicks Wedge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcello Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wedge comes to the cage accompanied by Song for the Suspect. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circling - Wedge throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wedge throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sanchez.
Sanchez moves in looking to clinch but Wedge pushes him off.

Wedge stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marcello Sanchez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sanchez shoots in and drives through. Wedge sprawls well.

Sanchez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Vicks Wedge will probably get the nod.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Wedge moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Sanchez! Wedge continues to tee off on Sanchez, landing with a left and a right! Wedge connects with a right hand that leaves Sanchez sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Wedge!
