Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos has chosen The Choosen One by Forever in Terror as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pablo Santos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kimble Cho's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimble Cho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pablo Santos! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos moves into the clinch. Cho lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Santos backwards. Santos fails to pull guard.
Santos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cho is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cho lands with a right to the head. Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cho connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Santos looks to land a right hand but Cho moved out of range. Cho dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Santos. That did some damage! Cho scores with a jab. Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cho paws at him with a jab and circles away. Santos throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cho. Cho misses with a body shot.
Cho misses with a looping right. Santos throws a low kick but Cho moves out of range easily. Cho throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Santos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Santos.
Santos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cho as he avoids it easily. Kimble Cho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Santos. Cho with a nice cross. Cho lands a leg kick that knocks Santos off balance momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cho avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Santos blocks the body kick.
Santos misses the jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Santos. Santos fails with a takedown attempt. Santos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cho. That did some damage! Cho cracks the inside of Santos's front leg. Kimble Cho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cho with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cho misses with a wild body shot. Cho pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Santos ducks under a wild hook from Cho. A big right from Santos misses. Cho throws a leg kick which misses Santos's front leg but catches the back leg as Santos tries to avoid it. Cho takes one to the side of the head.

Santos feints a jab promting Cho to slip. Santos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Santos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cho defends it nicely. Santos takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Cho throws a body punch but Santos moves out of range. Cho walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Santos drives through with a takedown into guard. Santos won't allow Cho to sweep him here. Cho bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Santos's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cho tries to stand but Santos is controlling from the bottom. Santos looking for subs off his back but Cho has passed one foot through into half guard.
Santos actively working from the bottom here. Cho tries to stand and escape but Santos is controlling the position. Santos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Santos is trying to control but can't.
Cho stands up and beckons Santos to join him on the feet. Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cho.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cho. Cho circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Santos staying out of range there. Sloppy strikes from Cho. Those never looked like landing. Cho moves out of range of the strikes. Santos avoids the body shot from Cho.
Santos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cho pinned against the cage. Cho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cho throws a chopping leg kick but Santos manages to avoid taking any serious damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cho does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Cho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cho takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cho moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Santos throws a leg kick but Cho checks it. Santos takes a shot right to the bread basket. Santos scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kimble Cho will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Santos shoots in for a takedown but Cho shows good takedown defense. Santos bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Cho is looking to wear down Santos with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Cho pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Santos back to the cage. Cho follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Cho thuds his right hand into Santos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A telegraphed right hand from Santos misses the target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Santos avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cho fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cho fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Santos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Cho swings for the body but Santos moves out of range.

Santos has a closed guard, preventing Cho from standing up. Pablo Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Santos is looking for a triangle but Cho pushes his legs off easily.
Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cho is looking to stand up but Santos won't let him.

Santos pulls Cho in to control the position. Santos has a closed guard, preventing Cho from standing up. Cho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Santos working for a triangle but Cho defends it easily.
Kimble Cho overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Santos trying to keep a closed guard but Cho is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santos has a closed guard, preventing Cho from standing up. This has been an exciting period of action! Santos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cho defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Kimble Cho showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cho, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
