PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Super Macho Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macho Man's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Macho Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Macho Man.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Macho Man tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Macho Man to the ground. Macho Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Smith holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Smith jumps guard and drags Macho Man to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ted Smith hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Macho Man throws a lazy right hand but Smith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Super Macho Man will probably get the nod.

Macho Man lands a big uppercut and Smith crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Smith looks OK. Macho Man waves Smith back to his feet!
