The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Krueger.
Krueger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Szbrjcik moves away.
Nice body punch from Krueger.
No joy there for Szbrjcik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Krueger lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Krueger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Szbrjcik looks for a takedown but Krueger sprawls well.
Good shot there by Krueger.
Krueger just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Szbrjcik tries for a takedown but Krueger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Freddy Krueger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Krueger lands with a hook. Szbrjcik tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Krueger tries to clinch up but Szbrjcik circles away and keeps his distance.
Szbrjcik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Krueger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Good leg kick by Krueger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A looping hook to the body misses from Krueger. Szbrjcik does a little dance to reset his feet.
Krueger misses with a head kick.
Krueger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Krueger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Krueger wants it to stay on the feet.
Freddy Krueger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waclav Szbrjcik.
Krueger connects with an inside leg kick.
Szbrjcik shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Krueger pinned against the cage. Krueger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A slapping leg kick lands for Krueger.

Krueger throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Szbrjcik.

Szbrjcik is rocked!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Krueger, right into the meat.
Krueger cracks Szbrjcik with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Szbrjcik tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Krueger pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Szbrjcik is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
