Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vio Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gino Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gino Colon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vio Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gino Colon! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Colon. Colon tries to clinch and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Colon's guard now. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Colon keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass. Jackson trying to control but Colon is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Vio Jackson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jab from Colon. Jackson tries for a takedown but Colon circles away easily and Colon counters with a lovely shot to the body. Colon tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Colon fakes the leg kick and cracks Jackson in the body. Colon thuds a left hand into Jackson's body. Colon throws a head kick that half lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colon tries to clinch up and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Colon won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The ground and pound from Jackson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Jackson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Colon looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jackson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Colon is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jackson lets go of the hold and Colon can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Vio Jackson! A victorious Vio Jackson thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
