Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Epeli Nailatikau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nailatikau might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Number of the Bollywood. Epeli Nailatikau has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Epeli Nailatikau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephan Kruger! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruger misses with a takedown attempt and Nailatikau counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kruger's knee momentarily. Nailatikau pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Oooh a lovely combination from Nailatikau sends Kruger down but not out. Nailatikau dives into side control looking to finish.
Kruger is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! The referee asks Nailatikau politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nailatikau prefers to stall for the moment though. Kruger is still in real trouble! Can Nailatikau finish him? Kruger is looking to reverse the position. Kruger looks to move to half guard but instead Nailatikau has passed into mount! Damn! Nailatikau scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kruger wants to hold on but Nailatikau pushes him away. Nailatikau prevents Kruger from getting the reversal. The referee warns Kruger that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kruger is trying desperately to improve position. Nailatikau tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kruger tries to reverse the position but Nailatikau maintains control. Kruger seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kruger wants to control but Nailatikau is having none of it. Nailatikau with the ground and pound from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nailatikau pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Nailatikau landing shots from mount. Nailatikau controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger working to try and regain half guard.
Nailatikau controlling from the full mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We're going to have a standup here because Epeli Nailatikau wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kruger wants to clinch and Nailatikau counters with a left to the body. Epeli Nailatikau is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kruger looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nailatikau throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Nailatikau lands a leg kick that knocks Kruger off balance momentarily. Nailatikau ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kruger loses concentration momentarily and Nailatikau pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Kruger crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Nailatikau finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Epeli Nailatikau! After the big win, Epeli Nailatikau made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors KAISER and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
