Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cornell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Breakbeat - Joe Budden - Pump It Up. Cornell has chosen Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen as his entrance music. 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Cornell! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Cornell misses with a takedown and Cornell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Lesnar fails in his attempt to clinch. Cornell tries a head kick but it misses.
Lesnar throws a body punch but Cornell moves out of range. Lesnar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lesnar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cornell. Cornell shoots for a double leg takedown but Lesnar sprawls well. He's pushed Cornell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lesnar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cornell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lesnar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cornell sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cornell throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lesnar cracks Cornell with a right hand to the side of the head. Sergio Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lesnar scores with a nice right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Lesnar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lesnar. Cornell misses with an attempted mid kick.

Lesnar lands a good knee to the midsection. Cornell won't want to take too many of those. Cornell is looking to control Lesnar's arms but Lesnar gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cornell has his back to the cage. Cornell working hard to break the clinch. Cornell takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lesnar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cornell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Lesnar trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lesnar is punishing Cornell with strikes - can he finish him?! Cornell is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Lesnar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lesnar trying to control. Lesnar lands with a hammerfist to the side of Cornell's head. Cornell just trying to survive but Lesnar is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Cornell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cornell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lesnar scores with a nice head shot. Lesnar is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Cornell throws a sloppy head kick and Lesnar moves out of range easily. Lesnar drives through and clinches with Cornell against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Lesnar presses Cornell against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Cornell takes a knee to the side of the body. Cornell tries a body shot but Lesnar blocks it.
Lesnar lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Cornell blocks a body shot from Lesnar. Cornell blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Lesnar has Cornell pushed against the cage. Lesnar lands a good knee to the midsection. Cornell won't want to take too many of those. Lesnar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cornell can do to turn this around? An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cornell.

Cornell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A hook to the body from Lesnar.
Lesnar has picked Cornell up - he's going for a ride! Lesnar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lesnar sitting and controlling from the half guard. Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cornell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lesnar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cornell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lesnar performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lesnar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Cornell seems a little lost for a moment, as Lesnar dominates the positioning. Sergio Lesnar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lesnar advances to full mount.

Sergio Lesnar has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cornell misses with a lunging right hand
and Lesnar counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lesnar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Cornell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lesnar. Lesnar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cornell misses with a few strikes there.

Lesnar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A lazy left from Lesnar finds it's target. Lesnar jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lesnar misses with a straight left. Tommy Cornell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cornell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
And that's the end of the fight! Sergio Lesnar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lesnar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
